Recommended Day Schedule:

Part 1 - Whole School Assembly
Introduce the Tudors and, through an interactive timeline, place where they were in history and the lasting legacy they leave behind.
This will be an engaging and fun introduction with no prior learning necessary.

Workshop 1 - Tuor medicine (morning)
Find out about Tudor medicine and how any cures were purely a coincidence! In this fun and lively workshop children will become expert 'doctors' and use some genuine cures. A fun quiz will help them consolidate their learning.
Next, we will learn about important Tudors and how the impact they had on history (including Henry VIII and Elizabeth I).

Workshop 3 -artefact investigators (afternoon)
Looking at some genuine Tudor artefacts, the children will learn more about what the items are and how they were used.
They can also play some Tudor games and learn the traditional pavane renaissance dance.
