Social Media
Much to the unbridled horror of my children, I am on social media! I post
tutorial videos to help with any concepts you might have found tricky.
What we offer
We have a range of options to suit every budget and how you pay is up to you. We can send invoices at the end of the month, take cash or contactless payments on the day, or a hybrid of both. We want this to be the least stressful part. To make things clear from the start, here are our rates:
Individual tuition
This is the 'gold standard' of tuition. One-to-one tutoring for an hour with a fully-qualified and currently-teaching tutor in your home. You will get the resources printed and brought to you for the session as well as personalised feedback after every lesson
Paired tuition
For those who are a little more nervous of one-to-one or might find it too intense, or for those who want to carry out the session with a friend (for motivation) this is the best option. Two students and one teacher in the comfort of your own home. All the resources are brought on the day and the sessions can be alternated between two locations if you wish so both families get equal feedback.
Small group tuition
At a tutoring center (to be confirmed in September) your child will be one of no more than 8 in a small group live session. All the resources will be provided for this and there will be a link for a YouTube tutorial video afterwards so you can learn the method used.
Online group tuition
This online virtual option will provide a chance to dial in for an hour to a Zoom call with a small group of no more than 10 children for some instruction in how to complete various aspects of the 11+ (or for English / Maths support). The resources can either be emailed as pdfs or printed and delivered to you for an additional £5. This is the most convenient option for those who want to learn from the comfort of their home.
Online breakfast booster
This budget option still packs a big punch in terms of academic improvement. An online 30 minute session from 7:30am - 8am (surprisingly, most children are at their best first thing in the day!) will be focused on key skills they will need. Resources for this can be sent as pdfs beforehand or printed and delivered to you for an additional £5.
